The Maharajganj- Nichlaul- Thoothibari road will be made a two-lane paved shoulder till the Nepal border. This road will be 10 meters wide. 812 crore will be spent on the construction of this 40 kilometer long road. It will be constructed by NH. Its DPR has been prepared and sent to the headquarters. After getting approval from there, the process of tender will be started.
The state government is starting the exercise to construct better roads on the Nepal border. In the same link, from Maharajganj to the Nepal border, the road passing through Nichlaul Thuthibari will reach the border. Due to the width of this road being seven meters, the traffic is obstructed when the vehicles are overloaded on it.
That road will be made better and two lane paved shoulder will be 10 meter wide. The responsibility of making it has been given to NH. The DPR of this 40 kilometer long route has been prepared by NH. With its construction, the motorists will get another better route to reach Nepal from Maharajganj.
The responsible people of NH say that on the instructions of the government, a DPR of this road has been prepared and sent to the headquarters. The file is lying at the headquarters. Waiting for approval from there. After approval, the process of tender will be started.
NH Executive Engineer Prabhat Kumar told that the Maharajganj-Nichalol-Thoothibari road was 7 meters wide till now. It will now be made two lane paved shoulder 10 meter wide. Its DPR has been prepared and sent to the government. The file is lying at the headquarters. The department is waiting for its approval.
